PLEASE GIRLS

Georgia Graham

Remember “La Femme Enfant” from Jacquemus FW 2014 collection? Well, that girl is Georgia Graham! 4 years later, the child woman has travelled a lot with her modeling career but kept her sense of humour about fashion. She now writes for I-D and Office Magazine. We met her in her cosy apartment in London and asked her about her personal style and the cool places to shop there!

« My style icon is a British artist called Rose Wylie. She is 83 and wears skate shoes and dresses exactly how she feels. She doesn’t give a fuck if it’s weird and I love that. » To Georgia, getting dressed should stay fun and playful. « Fashion can be kind of snooty, so it’s nice to poke fun at yourself and add some tongue in cheek elements. »

If you happen to stop by London this is where you should spend your money at!

« My favourite places to shop in London aren’t actually in London. I love the vintage stores in Bristol and Margate. But in London I like Beyond Retro and all the vintage stores around Brick Lane. I also like the bookstore Claire de Rouen, and Dover St Market if I had unlimited funds! »

Girls just want to have funds…! (in reference to Cindy Lauper’s song Girls just want to have fun.!)
