An escape to the country. Mulberry‘s autumn-winter 2017 collection effortlessly gives equestrian and countryside influences, a major part of the brand’s heritage, an urban twist. The Mulberry girls are true 21st century ladies, complete with chic diamanté glasses. “My aim est to give traditional pieces a new life,” explains Johnny Coca, creative director of the British brand knowns for its accessories. “I want to modernize silhouettes representing the archetypes of British culture.” Soft floral prints, pleated silk, tweed and Edwardian lace… The backstage pictures of the Mulberry show are like a dreamy ode to country life in 2017.
