Black, white and Dior

Couture at its best. Refined, understated, nearly relaxed – maybe the flat sandals Lucie Meier and Serge Rufieux, the design duo running Dior since Raf Simon’s departure, chose to finish their silhouettes with have something to do with the overall unfussy feeling of the Fall 2016 Dior Couture show. The models glide along with a faint ruffle of organza, strikingly modern in all black-and-white attire, paired-down silhouettes that suddenly come to life in the glimmer of an embroidery. We can’t wait to see what’s next for Dior, who is said to be naming a new creative director soon, but that doesn’t mean we’re not enjoying what’s going on in the meantime…
