GLAMOROUS PLACES

In London with Caroline Issa : Fitzrovia

You don’t necessarily need to leave the country to discover new places – in fact, you don’t even need to leave the town! For our latest edition of the Travel in Style series, we asked the forever stylish Caroline Issa, CEO and fashion director of cool London-based magazine Tank (and street-style star) to give us her hot spots near the magazine’s headquarters just North of Oxford Circus. Just another busy office neighborhood? Think again : what other area boasts a cosy café in a former public toilet..? Read on to find out Caroline’s four favourite places in Fitzrovia !

Relax at The Attendant : one of my favourite coffee spots North of Oxford Street, near my office – it’s an old public toilet so it still has the urinals inside! But the coffee is amazing and the snacks even better! 27A Foley Street

Get your beauty fix at Nails Boutique : a New York-style mani/pedi salon on Great Titchfield Street – I love having it close to the office! 82A Great Titchfield Street

The Attendant Café / Alison Jacques gallery

Browse the Alison Jacques and Libby Sellers galleries : two wonderful galleries on Berners Street that are run by women. Enough said. 16-18 Berners Street / 41-42 Berners Street

Entertain at the Riding House Cafe : it’s like my canteen – we were so happy when it opened as the food and atmosphere are so good. They have a beautiful private dining room downstairs I tend to hold small dinners in. 43-51 Great Titchfield Street
