In Rio with Camille Enrico

We’re off on an adventure again! Please flies off to discover Rio de Janeiro, with all its endless nights and vicious cocktails, thanks to Parisian jewelry designer Camille Enrico, a modern-day explorer (and still very chic). Known for her summery jewelry (even her winter 2016 collection, with its elegant embroidered cuff bracelets, makes us dream of tanned skin and al fresco dining), the designer finds inspiration in her numerous trips around the globe: Camille is preparing to launch her Colliers cosmopolites collection, out mid-September, celebrating the world’s most beautiful cities in 26 embellished letters to wear as a pendant around your neck. After reading her Brazilian recommendations, we’re pretty sure you’ll soon be choosing the R for Rio…

Seafood cravings: the Canastra Bar in Ipanema is particularly busy on Tuesday nights as it’s where you can taste the best oysters ever, straight from Florianopolis. Edifício Paranoá – R. Jangadeiros, 42

Party time: the Rio Scénarium in Lapa is an unmissable spot to sample the Rio nightlife. An incredible decor, amazing Brazilian dishes, samba concerts every night, and the inimitable Caipirinha con Kiwi cocktails… R. do Lavradio, 20

Sleep: the Hotel Santa Teresa is a haven of peace at the heart of this crazy city. I love the tropical feel of the gardens and poolside, as well as its great spa.  R. Alm. Alexandrino, 660

Discover: at the Musée de Amanha in the Centro, you can walk along the renovated embankment and admire the beautiful murals by local artist Kobra. Praça Mauá, 1

At nightfall: from the terrace of the Arpoador Hotel, the only one that faces the beach without a car in sight, you can witness the most beautiful sunset. R. Francisco Otaviano 177

A souvenir to bring back: some beauty products by Granado, a beautiful brand of Brazilian cosmetics, made following artisanal traditions and sold in a vintage packaging.
