Fed up with the greyness  ? Let’s head to Peru, at least virtually ! This happened when we met Cinthya Guerrero, the founder of knitwear label Stella Pardo. Originally from Peru, but grown up in France, Cinthya went back to her roots with the launch in 2009 of her brand with her mum and her aunt. Collections are designed in her atelier in Paris (8e arrondissement) and made in Peru. A genuine family story but also a women story (the brand is name after her grand mother’s name) : all the pieces are hand made using ancestral techniques by the best knitters of the country. A 100% green process that Cinthya launched 10 years ago, far before everybody else !!! And today the brand is quite successful with a big bunch of retailers.

We wanted to meet Cinthya in real life. So here we are in her nice apartment in North Paris, where she lives with hubby, her two kids and doggy. You know us, we dived directly into her wardrobe… As a true eco conscious girl, she owns many strong vintage pieces such as a turquoise Balenciaga bag, a Dior logo bag, Chloe high boots. But we also spotted young designers such as pumps by An Hour And A Shower. And of course all her looks are boosted by her own beautiful and colorful pieces. We could kill to curl up in these pink or yellow pullovers… We nearly wish winter would last a bit longer…
