Get lost in time at Pasatiempo Park

Pasatempo

“A theme park from the late nineteenth century. This surprising construction has reproductions of different places and facts from all over the world : the Pyramid of Keops, the Great Wall of China, a glasshouse and even a few hidden caves and passageways with reproductions of dinosaurs. Our favourite part is the main pound surrounded by Roman figures and mosaics of animals and the wall full of clocks.” Av. de Fraga Iribarne, 63, 15319 Betanzos

HonoratoMake incredible discoveries at Honorato

“Honorato is a small shop, open by appointment only, located in the center of the city. You can find a exhaustive selection of collector’s items from the mid century, especially from Sweden, France, Italy and Spain, with a great variety of furniture, lamps and porcelains. Its walls also showcase the work of painters like Alfonso Costa Ribeiro. Every corner is full of unexpected objects. The kind owner has already become a friend.”

Enjoy fresh cuisine at Herculina

La Herculina

“An concept minimalist restaurant with an open kitchen, two stories, many details and cozy lighting. They’re known for their grilled fish and meat. Fresh and local courses cooked in a simple way. Order the cheese flan with cranberries and maple syrup!” Rúa Juan Flórez, 85

Visit the stunning Jofre Theatre

Jofre

“The theatre is located in the Magdalena Quarter, an example of the rational urbanism of the Enlightenment period. It’s also where you can find our studio! This theatre from the 19th century combines a baroque interior with a modernist façade, covered with vegetable motifs and masks depicting comedy and tragedy. It is the ideal location to enjoy a good concert in town.” Plaza Galicia, s/n

Stop for an evening drink at Vermutería Martínez

Vermutería Martínez

“A small bar with about 150 different Vermouths on display on shelves along the bar, local tapas and exquisite seafood, right in the center of the town.” Rúa Galera, 31
