We couldn’t really say no, as who better than the designer of hip brand Heimstone to give us the low-down on all the unmissable spots in NYC? After the presentation of Bloom, Heimstone’s SS16 collection, in Paris last month, Alix is now back overseas, where she’s been based for a couple of years now. Breakfast: Two Hands, for a healthy and tasty breakfast. They have the best Acai bowl in NYC as well as delicious coffee, and everything is prepared with passion ! 164 Mott Street

Lunch: the eternal Café Mogador in the East Village. Everything is delicious, and a little bit Morrocan-inspired. 101 St Marks Place

Shopping: in the afternoon, go to Melet Mercantile on Wooster Street, the Aladdin’s cave of Ralph Lauren’s Vintage buyer. You have to book an appointment as the showroom has no direct street access. 84 Wooster Street #205
