Marine Neuilly

Marine Neuilly aka La Chatte de Françoise, a cheeky pseudonym to gather all Marine’s activities : musician, DJ, art director, publisher. One day she collaborates with an English brand of panties, the next day she mixes in a trendy club of Paris, and two days later she publishes a fanzine on women and on sexual freedom. We like Marine’s style, slightly androgynous, jeans as a second skin, a vintage T-shirt, a line of black pencil to highlight her beautiful eyes. 

We met her in her Parisian apartment of the 10th arr, with her dog Dee Dee (a pug who even has its instagram account!) for a nice photo session.

What do you do ?

I’m a musicien and DJ since I’m 16 years old. I’ve recently created my own brand where I connect inspiring artists to make limited creations about femininity through clothing, photography and printed paper.

Where do you live ?

I’m living in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, close to the St Quentin Market.

Your fashion icons ?

Chloé Sévigny, David Bowie and Drew Barrymore during the 90’s.

Your favorite color ?

Navy blue.

Your style, night or day ?

I really love wearing men clothes, I prefer their jumpers or T-shirt cuts. My everyday look is the same than the night one : a 501 Levis Jean, a vintage cotton T-shirt and a pair of old Converse. And I change colors for a total white look or a total denim look.

Three words or a short sentence to describe your style. 

My style is a mix between a masculine and feminine style, timeless cut and pop colors !

My sunglasses 😎 That’s the only accessory that I love wearing !

Paper or web addict?

I’m a paper addict !!  I really love independant mag as Polyester Zine, FFF zine, Buffalo Zine, Gusher or Editorial Magazine.
